I had a fantastic stay at this hotel high on the hill in Shizuoka. The panoramic view of the city and ocean from the rooftop open-air onsen was absolutely breathtaking. It was a rare find among onsen hotels in Japan and provided an excellent experience both at night and in the morning. The room decor was exquisite, with views of a private garden, creating a truly luxurious atmosphere. The attention to detail throughout the room, from the comfy futons to the delicious in-room delivered breakfasts, added to the overall wow-feeling of the stay.
All was perfect during my stay at this hotel.

Liked the cozy and romantic vibe of the hotel, perfect for a couple escape. The room was beautifully decorated with a stunning view of the garden. The rooftop onsen, with breathtaking views of the ocean, was a highlight of our stay. the breakfast served in the room was delicious and personalized to our tastes. The location was a bit of a walk from town, but it was worth it for the tranquil experience.
Disliked the steep hill leading up to the hotel, which made the walk with luggage challenging. The bathroom felt a bit outdated, but we enjoyed using the public bath instead.

The meals were quite expensive, but good value for the large number of dishes they provided. the private hot spring bath on the balcony had stunning views and was a great way to relax. the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.
The location of the hotel was quite far from the main streets, making it a bit of a hassle to get around. the Wi-Fi was only available in the lobby area, which was inconvenient.
