I had a fantastic stay at this hotel high on the hill in Shizuoka. The panoramic view of the city and ocean from the rooftop open-air onsen was absolutely breathtaking. It was a rare find among onsen hotels in Japan and provided an excellent experience both at night and in the morning. The room decor was exquisite, with views of a private garden, creating a truly luxurious atmosphere. The attention to detail throughout the room, from the comfy futons to the delicious in-room delivered breakfasts, added to the overall wow-feeling of the stay.

All was perfect during my stay at this hotel.

The traditional Japanese style room, hot bath on the roof, friendly lady at the reception, terrace and garden outside the room - all wonderful.

    Nothing to fault.

Liked the cozy and romantic vibe of the hotel, perfect for a couple escape. The room was beautifully decorated with a stunning view of the garden. The rooftop onsen, with breathtaking views of the ocean, was a highlight of our stay. the breakfast served in the room was delicious and personalized to our tastes. The location was a bit of a walk from town, but it was worth it for the tranquil experience.

Disliked the steep hill leading up to the hotel, which made the walk with luggage challenging. The bathroom felt a bit outdated, but we enjoyed using the public bath instead.

This ryokan resort situated on a hill offers beautiful views of the town and ocean. the exquisite room decor with a private garden and open, air onsen in, room give a luxurious feeling. a roof, top open, air bath with an astonishing view is a highlight moment. the breakfast and other facilities in the hotel provide excellent service.

Though the location is beautiful, it might be challenging to move around due to the distance from the station.

First time staying at an onsen and it felt like a great deal. The private open-air bath was a real treat, allowing us to relax and unwind in our own little oasis. The staff were incredibly nice and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. The dinner and breakfast served in our room were delicious and added to the overall experience.

Everything was spot on, no complaints.

The meals were quite expensive, but good value for the large number of dishes they provided. the private hot spring bath on the balcony had stunning views and was a great way to relax. the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.

The location of the hotel was quite far from the main streets, making it a bit of a hassle to get around. the Wi-Fi was only available in the lobby area, which was inconvenient.

As soon as I entered this hotel, I was warmly welcomed by the staff and provided with all the information I needed. The hotel facilities were immaculately clean and the location, high on the hill, offered breathtaking views of the town and bay. The breakfast served was fantastic, with a wide variety of delicious dishes. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my needs were met and that my stay was comfortable.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.
